I have no idea how the movie will turn out, but I have hopes that it will be good. Anyway, here is a little behind the scenes reel that I thought was interesting.

Traditional Chinese Archery and Bowmaking

Very nice short documentary on Chinese bow making and archery. One of the things that stands out is the use of the thumb ring to pull the string back - Unusual but effective technique!

108th Kyoto Taikai: Toda Vs. Kondo

This is really cool. I don't think there was any real competition here, just exhibition. On one side you have nito ryu (two sword style), and on the other you have one sword in hasso (That's with the sword guard next to the head, about in line with the mouth).

Also, it is really hard to tell, but it does look like he threw a Jukendo (Bayonet) move in there.

Kondo is the one doing hasso. Toda is doing nito.

Enjoy!
