Never let this happen to you! If someone wants to record you, make sure you have some skill. I don't know what the auditions were, but they got some doozies!

Yeah, it's been around a while, but it is still hilarious!

Ota (Hanshi 7th Dan) vs Takasaki (Hanshi 8th Dan), 112th Enbu Taikai

Ota Sensei is still at it. This is from the 112th Enbu Taikai in Kyoto, Japan. Ota (the one on the right that remains standing) is 102 years old! His training would have started between WW I and WW II (He was born in 1912!) This will explain his rank of Hanshi 7th Dan. He is at the highest possible rank since he started under an older ranking system. by the way, Takasaki is only 93!
